Barcelona-born Maite Pons captures a lush rainforest wonderland through her camera lens. One can imagine themselves in the vibrant arboretum, eyes closed, smelling the refreshing dew. It is this quiet repose that draws you in to this photoshoot; you imagine how wonderful it would be to escape to this secluded area, just for a moment.

Currently based in Berlin, the photographer Maite Pons will have caught your attention before; her colourful floral photographs were featured on Whim last month. She continues the theme of nature in her latest photoshoot, “Laura in the Garden.”

Maite’s photography portfolio is scattered with portraits that capture the human diversity of her subjects. She has delved deep into their personalities, exposing the inner lives of her subjects through her detailed images. She captures the precise essence of each person’s spirit.

'Laura in the Garden' is no different. After revelling in the tranquility of the greenhouse rainforest, Maite follows her model outside, against the backdrop of a quaint country cottage.
