Laurel Guido Photography has blessed us with twice the amount of beauty this morning on the Whim blog, thanks to her two-part submission titled 'Falling Flowers'.

If you haven't seen Laurel's equally-as-pretty photoshoot featured previously on Whim then you'd want to check it out here!

The talented photographer goes into great depth about the two photoshoots, explaining how Mother Nature meddled with her initial plan:

"I hung hundreds of dried yellow statice from tree branches, tied to clear strands. We actually shot in the rain and wind, and it was freezing – Audrey had to take breaks and cover herself in our blankets. However, the film did not capture that. It seemed to capture only the light that came through the clouds, but not the storm that was beginning to arrive.

Originally, we were to shoot the next week, but it ended up being nearly a month later. So instead of attempting to recreate the scene of the first part of the shoot, I decided to make it a shoot that is completely it’s own.

[For Part II] we had the help of Roxanna, and she was wonderful to work with (and so was Audrey). Instead of dried statice, I used dried roses, petals, garland, etc. We spent time in a gorgeous spot within the Chicago Park District (Columbus Park Refectory), in their ballrooms and surrounded by green/blue windows, high ceilings, and marble floors. The film captured the sun again, but this time, no storms or rain."

We want to thank Laurel for such a stunning submission and urge you to check out more of her inspiring work over on her website. Enjoy!
