It's nice to escape away to a fantasy land every now and then, isn't it? Photographer Marie Otero and Make-up Artist Whitney Mears both capture several dream worlds perfectly with their latest collaboration.

Whitney is from North Carolina in the USA. She states: "I’ve always been an artist and have pursued a career in the arts. For years I had experimented in numerous visual arts to find what unquestionable spoke to me. Once I discovered makeup artistry I knew I had finally found my niche. I fell in love with the idea that I could turn all my visual art creations into real beings for everyone to see."

When it comes to today's featured photoshoot, she explains: "I thought of the theme Fantasy Land for this photo shoot because I felt that people could relate to having a far off place they pretended of as a child. When creating the characters I thought of creatures and people I had daydreamed of as a young girl such as winged women, unicorns and girls with cakes on their heads. So now I’d like to share my imaginary place with the world."

Marie Otero is not just a fine art photographer - She's also very talented in the field of digital art. As her website further states: "Marie is an instructor for the PSA (Photographic Society of America), she is also the co-founder of Photography and Painted Works Excursions. She regularly hosts workshops throughout the USA as well as at various international locations,  teaching Photography, Digital Art & Digital Painting."
