Introducing Bellabox + their Special June Box

Last week, I was super excited to try a wonderful box of beauty items from Bellabox, a service which allows you to try a range of beauty-related products before you decide to splurge on purchasing the full-size item!

Needless to say, I was incredibly excited upon unwrapping and opening my June Bellabox. It is also important to note that usually, the Bellabox will come in the blue box (pictured above), however because the June box contains a pretty big and full-sized shower gel, purchasers will receive their products in the larger-sized brown box (also pictured above).

Shower gel: 'All in One Moisturising Shower' (pineapple and coconut oil) by Original Source

This product is worth the price of June's Bellabox alone as it is huge! The shower gel looks and smells amazing as I'm a fan of anything with a lovely tropical scent. The gel's label states that the fragrance is 100% natural too; another bonus as my skin has the tendency to react to any shower or makeup products that contain heavy, unnatural perfumes. The gel's natural oils left my skin feeling quite moisturised, which is a luxury in winter when skin tends to be dry or flaky.

Perfume: 'Joy Forever' by Jean Patou

This pretty blush pink and gold packaging caught my eye straight away upon opening my Bellabox. The scent is light and floral and the sample tube is perfect to carry around in my purse or handbag. Although the scent is lovely and delicate, I could still smell its sweet aroma on my wrist for hours after applying it.

Hair treatment: 'Damage Remedy' from Aveda

Aveda's 'Damage Remedy' Intensive Restructuring Treatment is just what I needed to try for my hair, which for the past few months has been bugging me with how dry and brittle it is. This treatment is the first hair product I've come across which contains quinoa protein. We all know how good quinoa can be for you, so perhaps this is the secret ingredient to restoring moisture and shine to damaged hair (because mine certainly felt better after use!). I think, as with most hair products, that my hair will slowly improve over time with each use of the 'Damage Remedy', so it's probably time for me to buy the full-sized product once my sample runs out!

Lip balm: Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

I've always wanted to try Burt's Bees products (thanks to one of my favourite bloggers being an ambassador for the label), but for some reason I've just never got around to it until now, thanks to Bellabox! I love that this lip balm is 100% natural and contains vitamin E (great for healing dried or cracked lips) as well as peppermint (to soothe lips). Burt's Bees lip balm also contains beeswax and thankfully doesn't contain any parabens, phthalates or petrochemicals. I've been applying my lip balm throughout the day and before I go to sleep at night and I've actually noticed a fantastic improvement - no more dry and cracked lips from the winter wind! This is one of my favourite products from this Bellabox.

Lip tint: Tint Stick in 'Siren' from Universal Beauty Cosmetics

Every girl needs a lip product in siren red and the great thing about this product is that because it's a tint (as opposed to a crayon or stick), the colour lasts for hours - I actually had to use a makeup remover wipe to take the colour off... that's how persistent it is! The applicator is a felt tip so it's also super easy to apply. My favourite thing about this product is what's inscribed on it: "I choose to speak with love and positivity". Isn't that beautiful?
