Review: CamRate App (iPhone version) - Perfect for Photographers!

Lately, it seems as though there are a million places online offering you the ability to rate and review things - whether it be a movie, restaurant, image, product or brand (and the list goes on!)

When we first heard about a new application for iPhone (with an Android version coming very soon!) called CamRate which allows you to offer your opinion and discover the useful opinions of others all in the one place, we thought it sounded like a great idea.

Another great thing about this app, however, is its use of images and your ability to then rate and comment on those images. Think of it like Instagram, except upon uploading your image you can receive ratings out of 5 and the opinions of those who view it.

This is not only a handy tool for those who love to 'shop around' and get real-time advice before trying a service, product, or place, but it's also a fantastic app for photographers who may want to 'test out the waters' with their work, receiving ratings and commentary from the CamRate community.

There is a feed which allows you to keep updated with the images and rates of those you're following, as well as a 'Latest' function allowing you to keep up-to-date with the newest images waiting for your opinion! The helpful search function also helps you to search 'rates' according to tag, user or location.
