The Etsy + Bride Wedding Trunk Show is Coming to Melbourne!

We've got some good news for those living in Melbourne, particularly if (like us) you're a lover of all things creative, handmade, and wedding-inspired!

Our favourite online marketplace Etsy has teamed up with Bride Australia to present a 2-day wedding trunk show at Melbourne’s 1000 £ Bend.

On Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th of October, lucky attendees will get to view the amazing products and creation process of over 20 talented Etsy sellers from around the country.

"As well as discovering some of the best Etsy wedding products and getting to know the sellers who create them, visitors to the trunk show will be able to try on gorgeous gowns and get beautiful styling ideas to complete their big day," explains Etsy. Sounds pretty special to us!

Etsy’s Managing Director for Australia and Asia Helen Souness further explains: “Connecting directly with sellers on the Etsy platform makes it so easy for brides and grooms to get handmade products customised and made just for them. Combined with the wide range of beautiful products on Etsy, brides can find everything they need to make sure their wedding day reflects their style and their story.”

Here at Whim, we've been huge fans of Etsy for a while now. We've also been admiring the utterly beautiful content over on the Bride Australia website, so are a bit bummed that (being based in Sydney), we'll have to miss out on this one-of-a-kind event!
