Not long ago, we showcased Bahana Boutique's beautiful 'Floreana' maxi skirt in a poolside photoshoot, and today we're excited to bring you a series of outfits featuring the label's 'Uluwatu' maxi skirt.

Just to refresh your memory, Bahana Boutique makes bohemian-inspired garments for the “weekend sun seekers, frequent wanderers and global explorers”. The Australian label is is run by three summer-loving sisters, Tegan, Bekk and Brielle Porter, with all three talented ladies listing "creativity, childhood memories and spontaneous travel" as the major inspirations behind their brand.

For this feature, we thought it would be fun to shoot 3 different outfits featuring the 'Uluwatu' maxi skirt, from summer and spring inspired ensembles to something a little more cosy for winter.

Without further ado, here they are!

All of Bahana Boutique's designs are perfect for slipping on over a swimming costume to wear to the beach or even by the pool. If you have any reservations about the maxi skirt style - fear not! These ankle-skimming skirts sit high on the waist and feature two thigh level splits, so they create a flattering silhouette (even on shorter girls!).

If you don't have a cropped blouse, simply unbutton the last few button holes of one and loosely tie the remaining material. A floppy hat and some strappy sandals help to create a perfect ensemble for a spring picnic.Bahana Boutique's Uluwatu Maxi Skirt 3 Ways on Whim Online Magazine 4

For a completely different look (or simply to mix things up), why not try tying one of the sections of the maxi skirt into a knot so that it creates a drop-hem effect? We'd recommend tying the knot more to one side if possible, to keep it out of the way of your legs when you walk. This carefree and summery skirt can still be worn in the colder months when teamed with a cropped jumper such as the one featured above. Although a little quirkier than the other ensembles, this outfit would also be perfect for that trans-seasonal weather.
