Photoshoot + Interview: 'Apres la pluie' by Roberta Tocco

Mysterious, intriguing, and utterly dreamy - these are the words we would use to describe today's featured photoshoot from the talented Roberta Tocco.

Based in Italy, the 25-year-old photographer has a portfolio filled with incredibly beautiful images. Her work has already been featured in impressive publications such as VogueIT, Coco Indie Magazine, and Ballad Of... Magazine (just to name a few!).

We were lucky enough to ask the lovely Roberta some questions about her career, inspirations and dreams for the future. Check out her insightful answers below!

Q: When did your love of photography first blossom?

A: I started when I was 19, but I think I was born with the love for visual arts, when i was a child I used to draw and colors were my favourite toys

Q: What inspires your creativity the most?

A: Beauty, fragility, human body, childhood and fairy tales.

Q: Please tell us about the experience you had whilst capturing these stunning images?

A: At first I had a completely different mood in my mind for this shooting, but then it started raining and I had to change the idea of the story, but at the end I really like the combination of sea and rain, it was a fluke!

Q: What does an average day in the life of Roberta look like?

A: Oh, It depends on the period, sometimes my life is very calm and peaceful like me. I like reading, drink cup of tea and enjoy life. Sometimes I have to work a lot and respect deadlines, but I always plan and work on pics.

Q: Lastly, what do you hope to achieve with your photography in the not-too-distant future; Do you have any exciting, upcoming plans that you would like to share with us?

A: I have a lot of ideas and shootings in my mind, I'm learning new things and technique of lighting for improve my style, my plan is always try to do my best and that's all :)
