Photoshoot: 'Amberly' by Melissa Black

Melissa is a talented twenty-three year old photographer from the Boston, MA, and you may remember her previous work featured on the Whim blog here.

Of today's enchanting series, Melissa explains: "For this shoot, Amberly and I played with a few locations within the arboretum to avoid the rain. While a public location, we had almost complete privacy. I feel that we played with a bit of a summer gothic vibe, and ultimately got soft photos with a pop."

We love how these images have a darker, almost 'forbidden forest' style to them, as well as the way in which that soft blue dress contrasts brilliantly against the deep green background.
