Photoshoot + Interview: 'Flower Girl Fantasy' by Naida Halilovic Photography
This stunning photoshoot by Naida Halilovic Photography is titled 'Flower Girl Fantasy' and it features gorgeous model Amra as she celebrates all things floral.
Naida is a very talented photographer who was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but currently works in America and the Phillipines.
We're excited to have recently interviewed Naida and hope you find her answers below as inspiring as we did!
Q: When did your love of photography first blossom?
A: I remember when I was a kid I loved photography, that I long conserved money, resisting sweets and other childhood joys so I bought myself a camera. When I was 10 years old, I had shot scenes from the yard and so tried to communicate with those who did not understand me. I was shy and not a talkative child and through drawings, poetry and especially photos I expressed my ideas, imagination and what I loved, carried out in thoughts.
Q: What inspires your creativity the most?
A: My inspiration comes from the different things I experience each day. Sometimes after watching a movie, a music video or just sometimes a dream can help me too. I just like to take pictures of what I like on models, to show what others do not see, to show photos in my way and express my imagination and my ideas.
Q: Please tell us about the experience you had whilst capturing these beautiful images?
A: In each of my photoshoots there must be some flowers, I love flowers. I love to create some fantasy and dreamy scenes for photo shoots.
This is the first time I worked with this pretty model, I'm very satisfied with the outcome. The photoshoot took place in my city Gracanica, Bosnia. It was nice weather, not cold, and lucky for us because it was raining for days.
Q: What does an average day in the life of Naida look like?
A: In this moment I'm in Philippines, on my vacation, and the next stop is America back to work. As far as I know I always carry my camera with me even if I don't work, when I have free time I edit photos, plan my next photoshoot, watch movies etc.
Q: What do you hope to achieve with your photography in the not-too-distant future; do you have any upcoming, exciting plans that you would like to share with us?
A: More photo shoots, more clients, more interviews, more features in magazines and I hope one day to become known to many people.
