Thanks to the internet, ideas now spread quickly. People have a quick and easy way to share things, so their best kept tips and tricks no longer remain secret!
So, what are three simple pieces of advice that can make your life easier, starting from today?
1) Sunday is a day for cooking
Batch baking and cooking on a Sunday is an absolute must for busy people. Why cook seven nights a week when you could just get it all done in one afternoon? Buy all your ingredients early on Sunday morning, when the stores are nice and quiet, then get to work. When you are cooking a big meal, you have the oven and hob on anyway. You might as well be using all the shelves and rings! Make a batch of pasta, a batch of rice and a few pans of meat. You can then make a variety of different meals, mixing them up with a different carb each night. Refrigerate the food for the next few days and put the rest in the freezer. Just don’t forget to defrost it in the morning you want to eat it. You can also think of some cool new recipes to bake!
2) Hand house renovations over to the professionals
Are you a professional house renovator? We didn’t think so! You wouldn’t try and fix your broken down car if you weren’t a car mechanic and you wouldn’t try to patch up a burst water pipe if you weren’t a plumber, so why would you try to take on such a huge task yourself? The Renovation Company and other such companies of this nature can take away all of the hassle for you. Plus they’ve got a lot more knowledge, experience and tools to put to use.
3) Write a to-do list first thing each morning
What do you do when you first wake up in the morning? Check your phone? Pop on the kettle? Turn the radio on? The first thing you should be doing every morning is making a to-do list. In the morning your mind is fresh, the day is ahead of you, and you haven’t yet been distracted by anything. Write down everything you want to do and achieve. Can you guess what we’re going to say next? Yes - the last thing you should do at the end of every day is check your to-do list. Anything you haven’t completed will be easily remembered tomorrow and you’ll fall asleep with a big sense of satisfaction at what you have achieved that day.
